Patricia Goulbourne founded UR-Essence Leadership Coaching because she is deeply passionate about partnering with and inspiring like minded women of colour to lead with confidence, integrity, and purpose. As a Jamaican immigrant, Patricia’s journey was shaped by the challenges of navigating invisibility, systemic bias, and the pressure to work twice as hard to be recognized. Despite these obstacles, she became the first in her family to graduate university while raising a son as a single mother and working multiple jobs—a testament to her resilience and determination.

Through her lived experiences in corporate spaces, where her voice was often overlooked, Patricia discovered the power of presence and self-assurance. Her coaching helps women of color overcome barriers of invisibility, and isolation, guiding them to embrace their full potential and lead with confidence.

Patricia’s superpower lies in creating a safe space for her clients, holding their wholeness, and helping them see new possibilities. At UR-Essence, the focus is on rewriting limiting narratives, fostering self-belief, and equipping women to transform challenges into opportunities for lasting impact.
